Happy Monday.
It's been quite a nice week, both in perfumery and my normal life. I shall start with the former.
If you've bought any fragrances in the past forty years one can assume you've seen the "Coty" mark on the boxes of certain scents. That's because Coty, the massive fragrance company, owns everything from Coolwater to Calvin Klein to Joop! to Chopard.
Anyway, Coty just got a new president. Renato Semerari will be managing Coty's Beauty Division. The man's worked with Shalimar and Sephora, so he's bound to put some class into Coty's Beauty division.
In other realms of my life I must say I'm doing well. Just got my fingers on a new Wolfgang Gartner track called Push & Rise, which isn't quite as good as his past material, but neither were Yin and Yang. Fortunately I do have other things to entertain myself with.
And that's about it for today's post. Join me again Friday when I review a modern daytime powerhouse.
